Qafe Shtame National Park is part of the Dinarides’ network of protected wildlife parks. Named after the Qafë Shtamë passage, the park covers an area of 2000 hectares filled with primeval forests, abundant water sources and a great variety of plants and animals. Qafe Shtame is 25 km northeast of Kruja and offers spectacular views and towering peaks of some of Europe’s last wilderness.
